an old inspirational saying that got me started in the right direction after years of difficulty:

Exercise is not for weight loss.
Exercise needs to be re-branded and stop being sold as weight loss.
Exercise is good for body, good for blood pressure, good for heart, good for lungs and just good all together.
But.....Exercise is NOT for weight loss.

Weight loss is entirely choices and behavior based around diet and nutrition. also for some, a bit of nature and medical aspects.

Do exercise, absolutely, every day. but getting our steps in, or going to the gym, or whatever.........it's not for weight loss. change the psychology.
