for those who follow the flow of normalcy.
society pretends to care about your goals in January.
selling you dry January as if they care.
the second it turns February, they want you to drink and eat like pigs cuz there is a big football game.
then, of course you must give each other candy and eat at restaurants because of valentines day.
then a large potion of people start drinking in the morning for st patricks in march.
it goes on and on, this is why people don't have a fighting chance to succeed on a plan.

Ah, but I believe you DO have a fighting chance. I've heard the same argument that we're seemingly helpless in the face of ultraprocessed, hyper-palatable foods. It takes focus, but ultimately, we're responsible for what we put in our mouths. I've also found that when we eat healthier, it influences the people around us
