hunger is a gift. it means our body is well, our metabolism is working, our degestion is working.
when someone is sick or depressed what happens? they lose their appetite. they don't eat. they don't want food. they are not well.
when those malladies are resolved, the appetite returns and people resume eating.

hunger is a gift. one must change the psychology around hunger in order to succeed at their wellness goals.
