Today is just a difficult day. I am really significantly strained my quad doing leg presses this morning (seriously painful, especially going up stairs, etc) so didn't have a good workout of course. Yesterday's workout was subpar and I wasn't even able to make it Monday. I'm hungry and it's been super hard to stick to my calorie goals this week. I'm craving a donut or cookies or even a slice of bread for the love of everything Holy, but can't indulge because I'm not exactly sure what is causing my full body hives yet and it's looking like it might be gluten. Ugh, I'm just not in a great space. I've been religiously tracking calories for about 6 weeks and working out 5 days a week for even longer and it just doesn't feel like I'm getting as far as I should have by now. Which I know is ridiculous but it's how I'm feeling today.

Everything you've done will help you long term. Remember as corny it may sound... it really is a marathon and not a sprint. You have to appreciate where you were and where you're heading. Every little bit adds up over time. But you have to have patience and be realistic. You can do this... but only you can do it for yourself. There's a lot of great information and help here. Give yourself some grace as it's not a matter of if you'll slip up. It's when will you because we're all human. It happens to all of us!
