I increased my calories yesterday from the 1500 I've been doing for a month now to 1650. I just feel like I haven't been eating enough. I wasn't necessarily starving, but I have noticed I've felt kind of weak at the gym. It seems to have already made a difference just in 2 days. A couple of unexpected gains so far - I can easily touch my toes. I've been working on flexibility and I couldn't come even close when I started. It seems like such a silly thing to be proud of but it's been YEARS since I could touch my toes. The other win is that I've moved down to the second step on my stairs for push-ups! I could barely do a pushup on the fourth step when I started. The weight scale might not be super impressive but I'm feeling pretty darn proud of the other gains I've made.
