the culture around food doesn't leave one with a fighting chance to succeed.

holiday meals.
birthday dinner.
vacation splurging.
taco tuesday.
co workers last day celebration.
"I don't want to be the only one not eating"
sunday dinner

the list goes on. i know we say "change the psychology before one can change their body". but we have not crafted a supportive culture around being healthy what so ever.

It's hard, I know. I'm a fan of relaxing for special occasions, but too often in our society, there are simply too many of them. At least with potlucks, you have the opportunity to be the change you want to see. I have a reputation for being the one to bring vegetarian meatballs to the cook-off 😉
