Day 10, 60 to go.

Today I am still rather sleepy. Much better than yesterday. I may try to sneak a nap :)

My scale is still not showing the weight from Monday, maybe it was a fluke: either way losing 5 lb in 1 week is CRAZY. So I am ok with a little bit of raise in my weight. Note a little bit.

I will keep doing what I am doing, with one change. More water. I have not been drinking enough water. This may also explain why I am more tired. I will try to set an alarm on my phone every two hours. I will then drink 1 cup of water. If I do that a few times a day, I will be better off than I was over the last few days.

Today is dedicated to getting my thesis ready for proposal defense. Teleconferencing with my advisor. Wish me luck (and no stress eating!)

Will let you all know how the alarm for water works out.

Mel--try not to weigh yourself every day. It will just discourage you. Sometimes something as small as how much water you are drinking or whether or not you've gone to the bathroom can affect your weight! Stick to once a week! I know you will do great! :) PS--H20 rocks

Thanks! I had 2 nalgenes or 64 ounces of water today! My calorie counting is a bit off....Explanation to follow: I went to donate today. They refused me because my iron was low. I decided to counter this by eating a snack and then taking two "one-a-day" vitamins. Lets just say, I normally have a funny feeling in my tummy after taking 1, today with 2, I didn't have to worry about the feeling long. I ended up throwing the vitamins up. Gross. If you have ever been made nauseus (how do you spell that!?) by a vitamin..do not make the stupid mistake of taking two. I puked it, and my snack up. After I felt better I had my dinner and then pm snack as usual. I rounded down some of my snack cals due to "tossing my cookies". I would much rather have kept the calories, I hate the feeling of throwing up. Anyways, water was a great idea. Two vitamins, a terrible idea. I noticed that I felt like snacking less through out the day while hydrated. Maybe I need to have a huge glass after dinner to curb the popcorn and icecream craving. But lets be honest: 200 cal for popcorn and icecream its my way of staying focused through out the day. Gotta earn something right? PS: loving the body bugg. I make sure I really have earned my pm snack by checking to see exactly how many calories I burned through the day. LOVE IT.
