It has been awhile since I've journaled here, and it's way overdue. Some major and exciting things have happened for me!

I ran my first marathon, the Shamrock, on March 20. I ran with two friends, Erinn and Jennie, and finished in 4:45:40. I can't even begin to say how excited and proud this makes me! I really feel like I can do pretty much anything I set my mind to now, and that nothing is impossible. Hell, I ran a marathon- why not?? =) It's pretty darn cool.

The other big change for me is that I am now a certified Body Back instructor! Body Back is a results based workout for moms, designed to help them get their body back from pregnancy and motherhood! It is a great program for women, and I am so excited to be a part of it, and to help other moms make the same journey that I have made.

The training was last Monday, and it was an amazing, cathartic day, really bringing things full circle for me. It was also the hardest I have ever worked out in my life!!!! We did a fitness assessment in the morning, followed by three intensive hour-long HIIT workouts throughout the day. I am still sore, four days later!! It was amazing, though, to work out with so many strong women. I am so thrilled to be starting this new chapter of my life.
