Great attitude!! Try a cup of tea at night. It helps me with my nighttime cravings. And if I'm still hungry after a mug of tea, then I get a small snack. Creme bruele (sp?) rice snacks or jello pudding are great for those cravings. ^.^ Best of luck in the fitness challenge too!! :D

I wasn't a big tea drinker til I was pregnant with my little girl...had to replace several cups of coffee with something else. XD But I've grown fond of a mug of hot tea and like a pb&j sandwich, or the rice snacks. The tea just fills me up all the way, but I still get that taste of something really sweet that I want. Support is what this site is for! ^.^ Your doing Great!! Look at what you've lost already!! 35lbs is a boatload of commitment and hard work. And I completely agree with you on needing to hear good job and you can do it. It's a long journey and a little support always helps to stay motivated.

you've got me thinking a lot more about this tea.The diet I was on 17 day -directed me to drink green tea with every meal.I did somewhat. But my vice-is not coffee but the other "bad liquid"-diet soda.On average I drink 4 to 6 cans a day.In the beginning I had cut back to 1 a day (whew!) but like any old bad habit it crept back in and I'm drinking it more than ever.I really dont know how much that fact influences or inteferes with my diet. But I cant think it be good?Oh well, gotta take small steps.I cant become monk in a day.LOL.I do wannna say tho that I drink more water-6-8 glasses a day as well.Thats a great appetite reducer (and its free!)lol

Green tea, with lemon, lime and orange juice in it.. BEST way to drink it. I prefer it to diet soda now.

If your not fond of the green tea flavor, what I did was take 1 green tea bag, and 1 bag of like raspberry tea, and mix them together to hide the green tea flavor. Worked great. ^.^ Then I started adding peppermint and slowly fazed out the peppermint, though not on purpose. lol. My favorite is the Bigelow brand green tea too. I've never been a soda person, so I can't say I've had issues with it. XD On occasion I'll want a diet dr pepper, or a diet sprite, but that's like once or twice a month. My sister and hubby struggle with soda though.
