I hope everything checked out well for you at the doctor's office. Drink you water today. It will help you get rid of that bloated feeling. As you said, today is a new day!

Hey it happens to all of us, we are human ;) You know better than anyone how to hop back on and put yesterday behind you. Water, Water. I LOVE that Mexican but sooo much salt!!

I wonder why we do that! Why do we have too much of a good thing? I suppose we rationalize by saying to ourselves, "This food is good for me so I can have lots of it." Then we have too much. During the last eight months I have come to realize that a person really does not NEED so MUCH food to sustain good health and energy. What really shocks me these days is the portion size in restaurants! My salad at McAllisters last week could have fed a family of four!

wow, sounds like your dr's office overbooked big-time! Sorry you had to do all that waiting. Of course you were power walking laps around the waiting room the whole time, right? ;) Today is a new day! I'm sure you're back to your healthy mindset! Have a great one!

It's terrible that you had to wait so long at the doctor's office. No wonder you were starving by the time you left. Just get yourself back on track today, drink your water, and you'll be fine. :)

Ok, I am back! Im going to try to do a clear liquid fast today. Mostly to make up for the terrible day of eating I splurged on yesterday and also because I really do feel bad today and tummy is upset and does not think food is a good idea right now. Probably all the junk I ate yesterday and the late nite binge on taquito's. I have learned that many grain products are not my friends. I do not intend to go on liquid fast's for more than two days per month but I did feel so much better after last months liquid/juice fast and I was surprised how much more "control" I had the following day. I need to get some control back. If this doesn't work I might have to go back on phase one to get rid of the cravings.

LOL! As long as life is good it's best to take it just day by day making modifications as one moves along, you're fine. Nachos Grande? Oh, don't get me started... :-)

I used to do a two day liquid fast about once a month. I felt great afterwards! But the important thing is that you just don't dwell on a bad day, right? That drs office visit sounds like a nightmare!! Hope everything is okay!

Sometimes the day collapses around us like dominoes when the schedule gets out of whack. Getting stuck at lunch will do it. When we hypos go too long without food-look out! I am glad you are doing a fast if it makes you feel better and gets you toward goal.

oh my eye checkup was fine. It was a relief and I go every 4 months because of glaucoma running in my family...doc wants to keep ahead of any problems is all. Doc says if we catch it early before an vision loss there are more options and ways to treat it. Im feeling pretty good tonight. Why is it I can do a clear liquids fast and feel fine but when I eat food I seem to always want more. I might have to watch to see what "trigger's' me. Yes, when I miss a meal I tend to go completely overboard trying to catch up... can't fill me up! Waiting too long at the docs office really set me off and I do know that happens when I skip a meal.
