Hi! I know this is an old post but I want to let you know that I looked up the minimum necessary calories for our body to function properly. I looked it up for myself and my mom. I didn’t want us to hurt our bodies. Sometimes when we don’t eat enough calories our internal systems can suffer causing problems. There are lots of good articles. Look up The minimum caloric intake for women.
