I have been really dedicated to my workouts and eating 5 healthy meals a day. The scale has barely budged, but I can see a difference in my clothing! My pants are a little baggy!!! I wear a duty belt for my job, and I haven't adjusted the outer belt and it is sagging on top of my Velcro belt that attaches to it!!
I don't see how after only 2 weeks there would be visible change in my body and only 1 lb on the scale!! WTHeck?!?!? Am I imagining it?
I will stick to the goals I have set and not worry too much about the scale just yet. :)

Muscle weighs more than fat. Sounds like you are losing the fat and gaining the muscle. If your clothes are lose, then you are moving forward. The scale will take a nose dive soon.

Thank you Eileen. I am hoping that will happen in a week or so. I'm going to the University here in Utah. They have a "Bod Pod" that you can pay to use. It's pressurized air and measures body fat. I want to get it done now, and again in 12 weeks. :) Thank you for taking the time to comment. I appreciate it!

No, it happens to many people. Muscle is more dense than fat and takes up less room, so you can lose fat and see the scale stay the same. It depends on many factors. I had a friend go down 4 sizes and stayed the same weight for a couple of months. The scale eventually catches up. The exercise makes all the difference. Plus, your muscles may be retaining water to help them heal so you aren't seeing it on the scale yet. Keep going and the scale will eventually catch up. Some times we owe the scale and some times the scale owes us.

Thank you Suzi! I must be changing something internal because I feel better and have noticed my energy on the rise! I work graves and usually feel sluggish most of the time.....but, lately I feel great when I wake up now! I appreciate the reply and it will keep me motivated to stay the course! Have a fantastic day!
