It's been so warm here!! Got home yesterday from working in the office all day (where the A/C made it feel deceivingly cold) and was just roasting!! Had to open all the windows and doors in the house to try to get some air flowing through-- at least there's been a pretty good breeze going on. Forecast says 90 again today, then cooling to 80's for the next couple days, and even more early in the week.
My CA trip this week got postponed to next week, so I get to stay around town and will be able to have my son's birthday party on Sunday! I think we will just do something at home-- maybe get some pizzas and just play some outside games or something-- need to discuss with hubby and son to see what's acceptable.
Trying to plan a trip with hubby and oldest daughter to Phoenix on the 23rd of this month so she can try out for American Idol. Yet another reason we should have stuck it out longer in Arizona-- the tryouts this year are about 5 miles from where we used to live! Oh, well, we are trying to work it out so that all 3 of us can go and spend a few days down there. She tried out last year as well, and since she's only 17, she's got many more years of trying out available, so we'll see how it all goes.

HEY... what about the SEATTLE tryouts... ya know... RIGHT HERE!?! lol C'mon... she should plan to try here, too, if she doesn't get in! =D Yes??? Glad that you have been able to stay home for sons bday... I'm sure it'll be really great for him to have a family bday. ;) Yes, I can tell it'll be WARM here today, too... already getting that way by 8am. Have a great day! lylas :)

bT-- they are not having tryouts in Seattle this year-- the next closest besides Phoenix is San Francisco, but that's next weekend and not really enough time to plan for it, so we'll try the Phoenix thing and see how it goes.....

My daughter and I love watching AI! We're going to their concert at the end of July. Keeping my fingers crossed for your daughter. Hope she makes it!
