The last time I recorded my weight was 304 days ago, according to FS. I know I had stopped doing workout and eating healthy much before that. And here I am... I waited too long. I let myself go too long.

What had happened? Life. It happens to everyone, nothing new, I should say. For me, struggling to find a job has been hard. Working at the lowest wage in my last twenty years is hard. Doing the job I am really not good at is hard. At the end of the day, I am physically mentally tired. Besides, our new apartment is so small that I don't have a space to do workout. Budget is so tight to buy healthy food. Schedule is too hectic to go grocery shopping to store good food in the refrige.

There. Above are my excuses. I need to realize that those are what I cannot control of. The only thing I can control is always myself. This mind setting had helped me the last time I lost my weight in... 2011. Those days, my struggle was infertility. When you focus on something you can control, it is easier to motivate yourself. I mean losing weight itself is not really under my control. However, doing workout regularly and eating healthy are under my control.

I need to admit that negative feeling is growing inside of me for the last few years. If I cannot control myself, how can I manage other hard issues in my life? That was, and is, my starting point. That is today. From today, I'll be honest to myself and take effort to do good one day at a time.

More importantly, some of my pretty clothes I bought from Anthropologie and Betty Johnson don't fit me, and THAT is very serious problem too. I succeeded once, so I can do it again!

Hey Kaz!! Sorry I didn't see this post sooner! You've got the right idea, hang in there and do what you can, when you can, and let the rest go. I hope you hop on here more often.
