High protein and fiber diet. Less carbs and fats. I think I am going to put my RDI at 1800 instead of 2100. I was trying to stick with that over the weekend with minimal exercising (to help rest my body and not over-do it) and eating normal. Guess I can't do that. Bike rides with kids daily are in and I MUST quit the soda. Boy my head is going to hurt for a while!

I tried out the 30 day shred today and only got through 16 minutes of it. I think I could have gone longer but my wrist is really messed up, not sure how or why, and it hurt when I was doing the push-ups. I tried to do most of them but after the first 7-9 my wrist gave out and was literally screaming in pain and swelling. I liked the punches, crunches, and reverse crunches. The lunges were basic as well as the jumping jacks. I guess it worked well for cardio.

So, I free-styled it with my mother today, did part of the 30 day shred, and used the wii fit routines for 47 minutes. 73 minutes isn't too bad. It has been raining on and off today so a bike ride was out of the question. Hopefully tomorrow.

I wonder if I should try the slim quick again. ??? I stopped drinking the stuff because it tastes disgusting but maybe if I am diligent with routine/s and changing them up, the drink, and high protein/fiber diet I would lose weight better. Let alone studies have always stated once you hit 30 it's harder than heck to lose the weight. Not sure if that is true. I just don't want to have the same issues as my mother. Diabetes can stay away until I am 50. I don't want it this soon...(another reason to dump the sodas).

Ok. off to bed I go, I need to get up early tomorrow. My cousin emailed today about css 3 and html 5 coming out. He knows I am falling behind the tides since I have been trying to finish my java course. Lots more studying to do. And then php/MySQL needs a refresher course. Ugh...school is never done (thank goodness!!) lol.
