Back to more protein today! Fried up a pound of bacon, but threw it out after one bite because it tasted "off". Don't know if it was really bad or just the crap off brand. 1/2 recipe of bullet proof coffee and 2 scrambled eggs for a late breakfast.

Just peed on a ketone stick and it says that I have finally managed to hit the "large" level. Could be that I've had a lot less water today so far, maybe I've been there awhile and just didn't know. What I do know is that the scale is moving and I feel good!
68.5 kg Lost so far: 5.2 kg.    Still to go: 7.3 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

I hear you on the bacon, and discarding food that *might* be good but something's not quite right. Tossed a $20 tub of grass-fed, euro-cultured, local, something something blah blah butter I'd had in freezer since buying, because ...rancid? Or was it supposed to be that tangy? --- How do you like the ketone sticks? I haven't picked any up.

I use the ketone sticks too, they seem to work okay. Basically they tell you through color coding if there is nothing , some moderate or a lot

I bought 100 for $10 at the pharmacy. Ive been checking daily to watch my progress as I get used to this Keto stuff. I think once I've found my "normal" diet, I'll probably just check every once in awhile or the day after splurge days to make sure I'm back on track.
