Wrong weight put in. I changed "How closely followed", but didn't enter new weight. Here is my correct weight. As I said, at least green!

Losing 0.5 kg a Week

Oh dear. Now I have managed to delete the original post AND comments. I thought I was just deleting the wrong weight entry. As I said in my first go. I was lower mid week, back up yesterday, and down a pound today. Disappointing. I'll give the new regime a month to get settled into and see how it goes.

A loss is a loss. What is your new regime?

No longer dieting per se, but eating healthier, drastically reducing sugar and refined Carbohydrates, sticking to IF (16:8 or thereabouts), and taking Apple Cider Vinegar. I have become an advocate of Dr Jason Fung.

I have set my RDI for Maintaining Weight, though I did choose a Sedentary life style (in more ways than one!). Aiming for 2500 Kcals/day and Carbs below 30%.

You sound in good spirits Jocko, and from a recent high of 218, you've done great overall.
Yes I think changing your diet regime will help.
I'm on your side with Jason Fung. I suppose it's about educating ourselves and understanding what works for us

If you go into the weight settings, then look at the right, you can enter historical weight. Have a mess around with that, you can change the weight to correct it.

Sounds like we're following the same regime/WOE Jocko! You do sound in good positive and controlled place mentally....always a good thing in my book :) It's sometimes worth going online (or to a local butchers) and see just what 1lb of fat looks like. I went on dietdatabase.com, near the bottom under the Science, Health & Nutrition heading on the first page, there's a comparison between 1lb and 5lbs of fat and muscle...worth a look!

I also don't think you should be disappointed with your loss since the new year started Jocko - as with changing eating plans you have to give your body a little while to relax and it has probably resisted loss a bit until it works out what game you're now playing - then you may see soon that it got happy and stops resisting loss if you're giving it what it needs.

I always get excited when I adjust my WOE. It reminds me that my weight and health needs are forever changing, and changing things up to suit them means that I am aware of my health and actively involved in the future needs of my body. That is motivating to me because I have spent the majority of my life ignoring my body or knowingly damaging it. Great job on your loss, Jocko! You have this in the bag!
