Make a plan you can stick with then do it. Don't be afraid to try different things. Reach out to people on here, ask questions, vent. When I first started I was at the point of "what do I have to lose?" Frankly, I couldn't have felt any lower...

You can do this. Don't give up. It's a new day.

You've done it before, you can do it again... On your way back down, try and figure out what it was that motivated you and what it was that caused you to stumble. A lot of us finding logging everything helps keep us in check. Reach out to your FS family and journal when you reach a hard point; we'll always be here to help. From one fat dad to another, it's possible.

go to dietdoctor.com and watch the video series on sugar addiction. You might find it eye opening and helpful. Best wishes for a successful '17.

Life interrupts us all. Don't ever give up. The scale doesn't rule your life...you do.

New Year's Resolutions are baloney! Most people (55%) give up on them within a few months. Set a GOAL! Write down your goal and the steps (milestones) to achieve the goal. More people achieve goals than resolutions. Go for the Gooooooal!

As HappyJohn said set a goal, make plan and change your life with a small steps. It's easier to make small steps. If you eat chocolate every day, eat a half or just at weekends. Do not make all changes at the same time it's easier to handle. Plan your meals, not just record. exercises are the key to good feeling and loose weight. good luck :)

you can't really lose weight if you feel ashamed or guilty or let self esteem issues get in the way or you get impatient. just work on eating healthy and get a little exercise every day, even three minutes a day then increase by a minute every week gets you there. consider this a two year process
