I have been reading a lot about the Eat Clean Diet in the past few weeks, and the "diet" that Tosca Reno has laid out isn't really a diet at all to me. I see it more as a life style change, and if I am being really honest with myself . . . a life style change is really what I need. I am really excited about the changes. In fact, these are ideas that I have had all along to myself, I just hadn't had the motivation to change. For the first for few weeks, though, I am going to combine Eat Clean and counting calories. I am going back to tracking everything I put in my mouth and only eating 1,200 calories a day. I have also found a blog that I find really helpful called Gracious Pantry that has TONS of recipes and guidelines for eating clean. I think I am going to be combining these recipes with ones from Eat Clean to get more variety and meet my budgetary needs. =)
