Raised my goal weight up to a more realistic level. I set a goal weight, then dropped it considerably, but now I feel it was too low. My wife likes my weight as it is, but I still want to go lower. I want my BMI in the healthy range (even though it is not an accurate means of measurement), and my % Body Fat out of the Obese range (less than 30%). I have decided on a figure between the previous two numbers. I want to lose a round 100 lb from my starting weight. 13 st 1 lb, naked as the day I was born, is my target now.

Well done. Maybe try weight less frequently . Eg aim for once a week . Our weight varies form day to day naturally any way and even at different times of the day . SO might be more useful to compare weekly results.

Keranne: Thanks. I only log my weight here on a Friday morning. I step on the scales first thing, and what shows is logged. I do however weigh myself every morning, and this I input into TrendWeight.com. They then analyse the weight pattern and, like fund managers do with stocks and shares, show the TREND, which is a much more accurate way of doing it. I have seen my weight sitting stable all week, then it is up on the Friday and back down again on the Saturday. Friday's weight is what I log here, even though I know it is the anomaly.
