I have found though, that "cheating" helps me stay on track on my regular days. This past weekend, we had a double batch of chocolate cookies lying around. I allowed myself more than I probably should have, but we will see the "damage" done tomorrow when I weigh in.

If you read the recipe for standard chocolate chip cookies, you will see that there is actually nothing in them that nourishes you except for the one egg per batch. Sorry! It's just going to make us fat and unhappy (except when it hits the tongue, of course).
