I'm glad I'm being looked after. It's a slow process of recovery. One of the really horrible things about surgery is that you have *no* energy for some time afterwards, and no strength. It is really daunting. So's the bit about pain. On the other hand, my wife notes that I am brighter than I was a week ago. That's a plus. My BMI is back down to 25.7, which is also a plus.
