One week in on Atkins again (almost 2 years out from Lap Band). Having a difficult time getting enough calories in as the solid proteins are hard to get down and then 4 cups of veggies on top of that. Working on finding ways to add to this program that won't sabotage me by going into starvation mode. I have added more meal replacement shakes, but they sometimes don't tide me over. This is the first week, so we will see. Slow and steady.
139.3 kg Lost so far: 4.1 kg.    Still to go: 59.9 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Why are you having difficulty getting protein down, is it the lap band? Which version of Atkins are you following? They're all good plans. Patience is a virtue.
