I have a very encouraging buddy (Sarah) who really cheers me up and gives very practical advice. I went to the doctor today and refused to weigh because they have a mean scale so why get upset? They never hassle me about not weighing in. Alright! I did weigh myself today and dropped a pound. I think I am going to weigh myself just one a week because for me, the daily awareness bugs me. I can tell in my body. If I eat too much, it goes right to my mid section. Metabolic syndrome, that can lead to diabetes. I must work on the staying away from the bad carbs and sweets. Little by little, I can do it...

Great job on the weight loss! I went to the doctors recently too. Their scale weighed me about 5 pounds higher than my home scale. I hated it! I guess that is the way they all are. Keep it up!

Congrats on the pound drop! I think it's great that YOU decide when to weigh in. We are all different, and we all have to do this in OUR way. As long as what we are doing is working, there is no need to change it to other people's liking, right?

I hate weighing on different scales - I do weigh every day on my body composition scale, but block out from my mind the "weight" part, as I am interested in the BF% reading. I tend to just record it all, and then look back to see the trend. My weekly weigh in, is on my wii and that is the one tha registers with me. good for you deciding when and if you are going to be weighed at the Dr's :-)
