It has been quite a good week, and that is evident by the 3 lb loss. I usually find that after a week with a small loss I have a week with a good loss. I guess that is how the body manages things.

Well done! I know what you mean, though. You can be eating very healthily and doing lots of exercise but your body decides it would rather 'sit' on a plateau for a few days.
