Partial success. Decided to break my fast 66 hours in. Not because of hunger, and not because it was too difficult. But because I need to reassess my body’s electrolytes need. I have a “hunch” (read:certainty) my genetic disorder makes me need more water and sodium than most people and the symptoms were not pleasant albeit light. The fact I was craving read meat supports my theory.
I will try again in 2 or 3 weeks; whenever life allows me with this weird schedule. Then, I will attempt a different electrolyte replacement strategy.
I want to do it right. Safe is right.
Oh boy was that steak tasty!!
