OK, getting really sick of being stuck in the 230's. I realize it is my fault, but I am frustrated that I haven't been able to break out of this rut!

Mom visits Monday, really going to try and get back to sub-230 before then.

:o) If you know why you are stuck there is only one thing to do: change it and if you just hit a plateau, nothing to it, it happens and you'll get over it. Courage!

I'm stuck there, too. I came down from 265 when I got my blood sugar down with Met, but now I'm just watching every bite that goes in my mouth. I think anxiety is my enemy right now. Do you have any favorite recipes?

I looked in your diet calendar and I see a lot of McD's happening here... I am gonna make a suggestion...stop eating crap... seriously eat real foods, fruits, veggies, whole grains, nuts, dairy and meat etc. I know you are on a calorie count which equates to eating what ever you want but you will find your sweet cravings go down alot if you fill up on real calories and not empty calories. Plus fast food contains crazy amounts of sodium... which can equal crazy amounts of water retention.. drink tons of water - lay off the diet drinks (I limit myself to 1 a week) and cook your own meals at home...and you can get away with probably eating around 1700 - 1800 calories a day ... I am 4'10 and 205ish pounds and I eat anywhere between 1400 and 1700 calories a day and am losing... and track everything you are eating (your calendar says it is only some of what you have eaten). And exercise... I am not talking full out crazy in a gym... go for a walk for 30 minutes or something just get the heart rate up ... It may sound like a lot but really think about what you can gain from it.. and start small I am not saying change every thing over night - it has taken me a year to embrace a lot of the changes I am making but learn about food, enjoy it, and most of all try and have fun while doing this... because honestly stressing over numbers takes the fun out of life....

Pixidaisy has stated it perfectly. I can only emphatically echo her sentiments.
