I've only found this app a few days ago and find it great to write in what I'm eating and how many calories it's worth. I was told I was too obese, pls call a spade a spade - fat, for a knee replacement. that was last Monday. I came to the terrible conclusion that I have to diet as exercise is challenging when I struggle to walk aided for more than an hour. I searched losing 10kg in 10 weeks. for the info I was able to glean from someone wanting to flog me a weight loss book was Keto and 600 cal a day. A Keto friendly food list gave me a half decent shopping list. Next was searching the amount of calories for all the limited things I like. sadly the Keto diet didn't list the chocs, biscuits or chips I enjoy eating. (They are in the pantry for a future date to have in much smaller amounts) The surgeon mentioned doing a 16/8 diet. So all set with what I can eat and how much it's actually going ok. most of my breakfasts so far have been a soft boiled egg(8:30mins from cold water, covered pot). plus a coffee with full fat milk and one level sugar(bugger the skim, hi-lo etc). Gotta have some pleasures. This is generally in the hour of 11am. Lunch is approx 3pm and this is either a combination of 100g of boiled Chicken breast and a cupful of Keto veg's. Look them up if you aren't sure. Yes I'm having maybe a half a medium potato for a carb supplement. Maybe another coffee or water with fresh lemon juice squeezed into it. Dinner around 5 or so is another egg. Mostly soft boiled but a poached one is also just as nice. Wash it down with a coffee again. my little daily treat was some roasted salted almonds till I seen they were 172cal for a measly 28g. What is nice and low calorie is either 1/4 to half cup of Raspberries or Strawberries with 2 or 3 teaspoons of Greek yoghurt. Works out between 50-60 calories depending which fruit you pick. Strawberries have less calories - 40 per 100g. Depending on my mood, I might finish my 8 hr block of eating with a Coffee or keep working on the lemon water. I'll post up some of my deliciously SMALL meals as I work out this app and how to post pics. Last Monday the 5th of Sept I hit the scales at 133.5kg. In this last week I've dropped to 124 something(fluctuates). Next target is to get below 120kg. one day I might make it back to slimmer me that I was back in my 30's, 70 - 80kg
