I have loved the atkins diet, but with the gallbladder having issues I think it is time to make a change. All the fat is just not what my body can handle.

You might want to look at the Dukan Diet - low carb and low fat! Fairly simple especially if you did Atkins in the past - there is lots of info about it out there including a segment on Dr OZ. http://www.dukandiet.com/ http://www.doctoroz.com/videos/dukan-diet-fad-or-weight-loss-weapon-pt-3

Nicole - There is also South Beach, which is basically a low fat Atkins (and less fussy than Dukan). Whatever you decide - best of luck. Make sure you let us know how you are doing.

hi ncole my daughters headteacher did the dukan diet he has lost 4 stone and looks fabulous, glad youve switched diets, hows the gallbladder pain?
|
gallbladder pain is much better. since I'm watching calories, I'm able to have my freshly juiced carrots each morning which I have really missed. I having to relearn all about calories though, with atkins I didn't have to really count at all - I knew what I could and couldn't have. I don't think it will take me long to "learn" :-)
