Today was week 8 run 1 of the couch to 5k.
While I’ve been trying to run 3x a week, I have not been vigilant over my eating and it shows. I started feeling weird & knew I needed to get my eating back to the diabetic way. So yesterday I was vigilant and I went from 210 to 208. I know- water weight etc. but still! It just shows me that there is a reward for watching what I eat. So I’m back to recording my meals. Let’s go!

Also, a funny- my kids were doing cartwheels and I said “I haven’t done one in years. Let me go.” My daughter: “don’t injure yourself, mom” me: “ha! I can do a cartwheel” First one I tweak my left wrist. I think to myself. ‘One more but I’ll do it the other way.’ Nope. Same way same wrist and I tweak it again. It’s only at that point that I realize my ankles are used to this weight but my dainty wrists aren’t. Haha! Pride goes before the tweaked wrist.

I hope your wrist recovers quickly and well!

You aren't too heavy to do a cart wheel. But, like you said, your wrists aren't used to it. Once they are healed, you could strengthen them and your shoulders with something like wall walks. Push ups will help them as well.
