I have splurged on my carbs for several meals several days in a row. I think I’d better get back in the habit of keeping it under 45g and adding in an extra snack somewhere in the afternoon. I know I’m still losing weight - but I don’t want to give up all the ground work I put in mentally while I was pregnant. My midwife told me to be strict & vigilant about eating and she was so proud of me for keeping to it the whole 9 months. She’s seen me spiral upwards in weight with my other kids. It meant a lot to me to finally heed her words & have success. Other people are too easy on me about weight gain. Not that I want people to call it out necessarily- but I can always count on my midwife to tell me like it is & give me the grim realities of being overweight.
88.6 kg Lost so far: 0 kg.    Still to go: 6.9 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
