Its been too long since I was last here.
I am ashamed to say, but I fell off the wagon for a little while. But I am back on it again!
We went on a holiday for about a week, and I ate a lot of rubbish, and that seemed to be my undoing.
I was already depressed, and then after another 5 weeks of eating junk food, I put on 2 kilos. Ouch!.

So .... here I am, asking for positive feedback!

Its almost like I want to punish myself for something! I have racked my brain, and found when a few things go wrong in my life, I turn to food for comfort. Not just any food...it has to be sweet and chocolatey!

The weather hasnt helped, with icy conditions, freezing winds and torrential rain.

Bye for now.

We all get off track from time to time. The great thing is that you made it back to start your progress again. Don't beat yourself up just get started.

Hi there. I totally get what you said about food as punishment, then you punish yourself for eating poorly by eating more poorly. Seems a vicious cycle, so GOOD FOR YOU for overcoming it and getting back on track !!! Especially when the weather would make you turn to comfort food. I am new here, but it seems like a fantastic group of supportive people, so welcome back.

Chocolate... the downfall of many. It those darn endorphins that it produces, giving you a false sense of euphoria (which soon turns to depression as soon as you step on the scale and realize that the five pounds it took days, maybe even weeks to lose, are suddenly back over night.) Just don't get stuck in the cycle. Don't get depresses. Get determined! Determined to do better, because you know you can. Don't label yourself a failure. You may have tripped, but no one is judging you, so don't judge yourself. Don't punish yourself. Just stand up, dust yourself off and keep going. You can do this, and we're all here doing it with you. ;)
