TomB0327's Journal, 29 Mar 22

It’s been 7 weeks since my PCP put me on an 1800 calorie a day diet. I thought there’s no way I can do that. Well, I’ve been trying to stay under 1600 calories just as a test without starving myself. I eat plenty, just watching the consumption. I still drink beer and have one cheat day a week. What I do take from this, is feel much better and eating healthier. Last time I saw him, I weighed in at 260 fully clothed. Today is my follow up and can’t wait to see what their scale says. It’s the kick in the a$$ I needed. If I can do it, so can you. This app has been a godsend for me to keep track of my calories and read the posts everyone puts on here. The support is priceless.

My 7 wk dr appt did not disappoint. I’m no longer pre-diabetic and dropped 20lbs. Never seen my dr act the way he did. He was certainly surprised. On to the next goal.
