What went wrong? Yesterday I had less than 1000 cal but still had food and still gained what’s up with this stuff? I i’m thinking it must’ve been too much sodium I do try to watch that but maybe Ash need to watch more. So very depressing
73.2 kg Lost so far: 1.7 kg.    Still to go: 21.0 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Water retention is the culprit especially if you didn’t drink enough water and ate more foods with high sodium content

keeping sodium intake consistent will help with water fluctuation, but with that being said I've gone way over board on sodium and still had a loss the next day. tons of things play roles. digestion, sleep, potassium, did you pee, did you poop and I'm sure tons of other variables. people tend to point to sodium bcus it's on page one of Google search.

You are under eating. Your metabolism slows down if you over restrict your calories. It begins to conserve its energy since it thinks you are going into starvation mood. Solutions: 1. Reduce stress, even over exercising. 2. Don’t spike your insulin with too many carbs. Consider a no carb breakfast since after you wake up in the morning your body is primed for fat loss if you stay in a fasted state. Save carbs for later in the day as well to lower cortisol to help sleep. 3. Eat enough protein. 4. Don’t be afraid of healthy fats. They balance hormones levels. 5. Change your physical activity and add variety.

You can't go one-day-at-a-time when weighing. Your metabolism doesn't work that fast.

I have been sick to my stomach so I am just starting to make my self eat again yesterday.
