Sorry to hear this. I stopped by to say that I love your username. Does the Vulcan way have something to do with Spock?

Yeah, it's the acceptance of logic. I find that when dealing with the heavy real life stuff, I'm much more inclined to say "Okay, what's the next step to dealing with this?" vs wringing my hands and crying. I'll cry after I've made the plans to help me and when self-doubt wants to rear its head.

This is very hard to hear. I lost half my colon to Crohns so I can relate to what you are going through. Stay strong.

You have a great philosophy - focus on what you can change and make better. Crying relieves stress when done with mindfulness.

I will keep you in my prayers. It is alot to worry about when health problems occur.....If you have a good dr and ask alot of questions it can be very helpful. You seem quite positive and that helps too. God bless.

My husband has Crohn's and I have a sense of how challenging it can be when eating feels like the enemy. I hope you can look for, and find, ways of reducing stress. Easier said than done, I realize; but reducing stress eliminated his ulcers.
