So, I dropped off the diet for quite some time. Then one day, near the end of February, I was on Kijiji and found a personal trainer who does sessions from your home. She typically only does 6 week bouts with clients, meeting twice a week, but I decided to sign up for 34 weeks, hoping that we could kick the 50lbs I need to lose to be in my healthy weight range.

I contacted her immediately, and we started meeting twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays (our first session was March 5th).

When we first met, we did a weigh in, and took my measurements. I had gone up to 165lbs, the heaviest I've ever been. I'm proud to say that we've been meeting just over 2 weeks now (my last weigh in was Saturday) and I've lost 5lbs!!!

I decided I won't be tracking my food intake... I think that's why I always fall off dieting, I find it really tedious to track every little thing. What I am doing though, is making healthier CHOICES, and drinking A LOT more water. I went from drinking 0 glasses of water a day (yes, I'm dead serious...all I drank was juice) to drinking 2Ls of water nearly every day.

I have a small desk calendar that I've been tracking my progress on. Every day that I exercise vigorously for 30 mins or more, I highlight green, and I also mark my water intake for every day. My goal is simply to exercise 30 mins (or more) a day, more days than I don't exercise... Eventually, I want to end up exercising 6 days a week, having Sunday being a rest day.

I am really determined to succeed this time.
