this appears to be my actual weight which I am not happy about. my wheelchair weighed 37 lb today but all in all even though I weighed 193 last week it was actually 198 because of how I was counting my wheelchair.

I started eating at 1400 calories a day and for the past 2 weeks went to 1300 a day. I don't know how low I have to go to actually lose weight! I am planning on sticking to 1300 this week and then if need be go to 1200. Without being able to exercise cutting calories is my option.

in April I weighed about 185. I had lost weight due to covid and had been in the hospital for 15 days with pneumonia and respiratory failure.
90.2 kg Lost so far: 11.6 kg.    Still to go: 12.2 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

glad you got through Covid! Are you on a certain diet plan? It seems to me personally your not eating enough. I realize your in a wheelchair but you could definitely eat alot a veggie and some fruits and I doubt you'll gain weight from that.

I feel I am eating enough. I just want more! Eating more vegetables is how I feel more satisfied with the calories that I eat. I'm going to try harder to eat more vegetables this week. I plan on making a pot of lentil soup tomorrow. I am making a brown rice, cabbage and shrimp stir fry tonight. I will be making pork piccata a healthy way with a healthy garlic mash and vegetable this week too. I will also be making my spaghetti squash with a vegetarian pasta sauce. My husband and I will be making breakfast oatmeal brownies that I found a recipe for on Pinterest. They have 121 calories each.

Thank you I am glad I made it through covid too! I did not realize how close to dying that I was! They wanted to intubate me but couldn't because of my weak cough due to multiple sclerosis. I had a constant fever for 2 months. My husband has hemophilia and was dealing with an abscess. His mom had stayed with us to help. Then she got covid and gave it to me. We sent her home. My husband went into the hospital the same day I came out. It was due to the draining abscess in his back which was happening because of a bone infection. It is constant still but he is home and will be on antibiotics for who knows how long. He got diagnosed with covid the same day I went home but he had come to see me so I had to quarantine for the third time! He was able to get the antibiotics so covid-19 did not affect him.
