boy was I surprised at the weight loss. I drop most of the weight between the time I go to sleep and wake up. I personally don't drink as much water as most, as I don't feel thirsty. I think that if you are forcing yourself to drink you will be carrying around extra water weight and if you are on the cusp of giving up, 1 pound of water might be discouraging. i also don't think that people count other beverages to there total milk counts as water tea and coffee don't as the have caffeine which is a diuretic .
best of luck to all

Actually, by the time you are thirsty, you are dehydrated. But people do get liquids in many forms and unless you have a bloating problem, whatever goes in WILL come out, lol. Our bodies have a way of letting us know what it needs.
