I actually started dieting on April 15th and went to the dr. yesterday and got weighed in at 261. I lost 17 pds. I cut back on the carbs, eat 3 meals a day and maybe 1 snack if any and drink tooooo much water, lol.
118.4 kg Lost so far: 7.7 kg.    Still to go: 39.0 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

congratulations on the weight loss. I have a doctors appointment next week so i'm trying to lose as much weight as possible so that she could be proud of me.I don't know why but hearing that you're going in the right direction from a doctor makes things a bit better.

Thanks, I thought maybe you were the dr. in disguise, lol, that was her comment, you are heading in the right direction! This is a neat site. I just happened to find it but there is so much stuff on it. I could be on the computer all day instead of eating, lol. I am alot older than you but can remember after having a baby thinking I was so fat and that I kept all the weight on for all these years but when I go back and look at old pics, I did lose all the baby weight but then began slowly adding and adding. So don't let it creep up on you b/c this is alot harder when u r older and worried about diabetes, etc. Keep up the good work.

lol thanks for the head ups.. lol@ doctor in disguise, this site is pretty cool. My favourite part is the challenges, even though I've never been able to finish one lol...but I do enjoy looking at them. The recipes are pretty cool too! take care.
