I’m not really over weight but I’m also not where I want my figure to be. I want to shed about 5 pounds and I will be happy. I’m short so every pound looks like 10 on me. It shows in my legs, thighs, my arms, back, belly and face. I have been doing Keto and not losing weight. Tracking my food very precisely. Like every crum! My carbs are targeted at 30. Even under 50 g I should be losing weight all while staying under 1200 calories. I hit my goals everyday but the scale is not moving. I can’t imagine what would be happening to my body if I weren’t dieting. I have dreams of breaking my diet every night! So weird! Lol. As the days go by, I drop some carbs! Today I was down 1.4 lbs. I’ve seen that before and next day gained. I’m a daily weight checker, which is bad I know but it keeps me motivated and when I lose weight I try and repeat the same foods as previous day to make it continue.
56.1 kg Lost so far: 7.9 kg.    Still to go: 3.9 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

I am rowing in the same boat. Reading articles that contradict each other. I'm still confused and have no clue. But building muscle is the most consistent piece of information. Good luck and don't let that scale get the best of you.

Try checking your ketone levels with pee strips.

Only 5 lbs is so hard to lose. You look to be a healthy weight and if you’ve been stable at that weight for a while, going below that can be hard. Instead of losing actual weight why not try and build muscle which will change your body composition and how the weight looks on you.

There is a difference in how keto diets and intermittent fasting should? Could? be done in women as apposed to men. A little Google investigation may be in order.

Don't treat your body so badly/rudely. Begin measuring. You might be dropping inches which I kinda like alot more better than weight bc I luv muscle. Also, don't forget to stay hydrated. Drink plenty of h2o especially during summer. Tighten, tone, firm, your body by doing Yoga-Stretching, Tai-Chi, Pilates, and cardio is very important for your largest muscle: your heart. It sounds like you want to body recomp? Fairly happy with weight but want body different. Do you exercise? Lift?

I recently started working out every day but in an amount I can manage. I ride my Peloton for 20 min, stretch for 5 min and then work on my arms for 10. Then I shower and move on with my day. I have also been watching what I eat. This seems to be working for me (manageable exercise EVERY DAY and watching what I eat). Til now, nothing else worked and was a burden on my schedule.

Thanks everyone! I have noticed some thinning in my legs and arms, just not my waistline. Although I haven’t lost weight. I do light workouts in the morning and yoga. I only spend about 15-20 minutes doing it though. I only want to firm and not build. I like the lean me. Thanks for the tips. It makes everything make much more sense.
