Roxy Marie's Journal, 28 May 21

Today I attended my 3rd Pilates Reformer class at 10:30 this time. I seriously love this class. I love learning all the moves and challenging myself as well with the core movements especially. Our instructor has been so helpful and encouraging to me especially since I'm new. I was only going to attend 2 classes this week but she told me their was 1 more opening on Friday at 10:30 after my Wednesday class so I signed up right away. After the class I did the elliptical for 25 minutes and then worked out on my normal machines in the gym. I'm so happy to be back at the Y!
Also, I need to be honest with you and myself again. i haven't posted my weight in a while so here it is from this morning. As you can see I gained a bit which I am not happy about but I plan to get back on the horse. My planned weigh-in and posting will be every Friday morning.
86.9 kg Lost so far: 1.1 kg.    Still to go: 23.4 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Something new for me to learn, I had never heard of this before "Pilates reformer classes" - I need to put my study cap on now.

piggy winkle (cute name btw), The pilates reformer & pilates aero classes are considered specialty classes and they are $10 per class so they are not included in the membership fee of the YMCA. Believe me...especially since I'm new I'm really getting a lot of special personal training which I really appreciate. I pick up moves pretty quickly though so I'm not too worried. Everybody has to start somewhere right? I'v learned quite a few movements in just 3/1 hour classes so far. 🤗 E

skydiverjim, The reformer is a great machine as it works pretty much all the muscle groups especially the core. I don't remember my core ever being this sore from anything else I'v ever done. You can check it out on You Tube. Just look up Pilates Reformer if you are interested.
