Hi, new buddy! Sorry you had a rough week. I don't know enough about you to know whether all you have going on is really too much, or if you just had one of those temporary feelings of being overwhelmed that plagues all of us at one time or another. I typically don't participate in challenges such as the 30-day one you mentioned in your blog because they create too much pressure & I decided long ago there's no room for that in my weight loss program. I've learned over the past ~8 months that my body does not lose pounds according to any type of schedule, so it's impossible to try to lose X pounds in Y days, weeks or months. Instead, I have mini-milestones set every 2-5 pounds to look forward to & I focus my efforts on reaching that next one, whatever it is. Sometimes it happens quickly, sometimes not. But as long as I stay on track, it always happens. :)

I totally know what you're saying about causing too much pressure. I definitely am keeping that in the back of my head and if I feel as though it is adding unneeded pressure then I plan on refocusing. I like to use the challenges as a motivation, but they can definitely turn into something negative. I'm definitely still going to try to hit my 30 days, but if I don't, I am not going to let it get me down. I need to think about the whole mini-milestone thing. I don't have a date set for my goal weight loss, but it does make for a long haul between celebrations.
