I ate way too much of the wrong things over the weekend, but am back on track now. How do you deal with overeating and/or eating the wrong things when you're away from home? Pat

The best thing to do is just get back on track for this week. I look at my eating on a weekly basis, not daily. You should have one day a week that you don't worry so much about what you eat. I usually pick Friday or Saturday because that is usually when we eat out. I still try to pick as healthy a meal as I can. I don't want to end up eating a 2000 calorie meal, but I don't stress if its a more than usual. This way, I can enjoy a guilt free meal without totally feeling like I have blown my whole diet. I think it is most important to keep exercising! At least 45 minutes a day!

That's a good idea, I'll give it a try. Thanks, Kim.

Do absolutely everything you can to reign it in, even if it just means ordering a glass of white wine instead of a high-cal margarita, or going on a 10 minute jog instead of doing no exercise.
