I am happy to have maintained. Again, I expected a gain, due to the little cupcakes I made for my birthday week. I made them from the simple vanilla keto-friendly cake recipe I managed not to fail. They were very good. I failed the icing, but the cupcakes were good by themselves. Aside from this, I ate normally, as low-carb as possible, except for the salad version of a poke bowl I had for dinner for my birthday.
My blood pressure was a little high this past week, but I did not take it daily, which never helps. I know that my period is coming up, so I was wondering whether this can have an influence on my BP. Thankfully, this morning it was normal! I am so relieved.
I am also relieved that despite the warm temperatures of this past week, we did not get freezing rain or slushy snow! It was sunny for most of the week. A very nice gift for my birthday!
