phonixrise's Journal, 13 Mar 09

I had a great week & I gained a pound. That is so wrong. Saturday was my only bad day because we went fast food hopping. Most of the things I got I only ate 1/2 or 1/3 though & I put it all in my journal. So it was an 1800 calorie day and every day since was awesome.
So my thought that I could have 1 day a week to eat somewhat bad is totally shot. I hate being over 150, it is so demotivating. I've been doing this for 3 1/2 months & I am pretty much where I was when I started. Lovely.

Have you been doing a lot of exercise? It may be muscle weight gain. Keep your chin up - your doing great!

You can get back up there and try again. On Biggest Loser Jillian says you don't gain muscle in weight, so I dunno if it is muscle that made you gain a pound as much as it probably was the fast food. My body can not handle fast food, I get sick and also gain several pounds with one meal. You can't go back so just move forward, get into the mindset to eat healthy everyday not just 6 days a week. You are so close to your goal weight you can do it!!! Good Luck.

You have so little left to lose that you might need to look at the quality of foods you are eating. It's not always about how much but "what" you are eating. Try a week of eating leaning proteins, fruits and veggies (lean dairy). Stay away from the junk and processed foods and see what happens. Good luck!

Suzi has great advice! Keep in mind that your body can gain and lose easy: for example Yesterday, I gained 2 lbs (203) today, I lost (200).Keep up your hard work and it will pay off!

Thanks Guys for all your words of advice & sympathy :) I know I eat too much processed food & that is probably the problem. Perhaps it is not all about the number of calories but what it is I am eating. Certainly something to consider anyway.
