Whilst I’ve been quite good with the diet, I’ve been far from perfect. Friday ended in a Chinese takeout, not because I hadn’t prepared, indeed I still have the £10 Tesco deal for tonight. I’d prepared myself during the day by not eating a lot, looking forward to sharing a meal with my wife.
However the look of dissatisfaction or disappointment was tangible at 5pm as she said ... “Oh I thought we could share a Chinese tonight”, avec puppy dog eyes.
I did order EFR, Kung po chicken, she insisted on salt and pepper chips, but that was it between us.
Side note : I’ve always wondered how a family of four manage to order £35 worth of food , but I hear them do it all the time🤷♂️
