This is a difficult choice. I made the choice to diet with out surgery. I've had friends that had it done. Some it was good for other's so so. I need the dicipline and change in the way I eat and chang in mind set. also I gained it slow I need to lose slow to help with my skin and get use to this way of eating, for it to become the way of thinking. Now I have to regain strength and muscle. Its not been easy but it been good for me.

Many people rave about weight loss surgery but it’s important to talk to people 5,10,15 years out. There are long term issues that bariatric surgeons don’t tell you about.
You are are amazing! So inspiring to lose that 25 lbs! Keep up the great work!!

To be totally honest Bariatric Surgery scares me because I've seen both sides of what can happen. So I decided to give myself 6 months to prove that I could do it on my own and not jump at the easy way out. I'm proud to say that I'm doing it the right way. I now know I've got this! Just at 57 it will take me a little longer than it use to at 30.
