Slow and steady wins the race, right? It is difficult to juggle eating healthier and keeping the groceries within the new "leaner" budget. I will just have to splurge and buy some Splenda or Altern as sweet tea is a habit I will have to wait on kicking. Too much stress with the economy, the possibilty of my husband being permanently disabled, the possibility of me loosing my job, and the holidays. My youngest daughter worries about the long term effects of Splenda, but sugar sweetened tea hampers the weight loss and unsweetened tea is too big of an adjustment for me right now. Water is great for in between meals, but is yuck with food. Oh well. God is good and so is sweet tea.
85.3 kg Lost so far: 1.8 kg.    Still to go: 17.2 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

If you would like to get the Splenda out of your diet I suggest Stevia. It is all natural and is wonderfully sweet without calories and without any bitter after taste. I buy the stevia leaf and brew it with my tea. Hope this helps. :)
