i managed to maintain or possibly even lose weight on a 7 day alaska cruise! i did this once before and followed the same stragedy this time. i cut out bread, potatoes and rice for the most part and instead requested extra green vegetables with my meals. this was the only exception to my typical cruise food consumption. i still enjoyed sweets everyday.

all the other times that i cruised and did not follow this stragedy, i gained from 4-7 pounds on every cruise.
72.3 kg Lost so far: 1.6 kg.    Still to go: 8.8 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
Losing 0.3 kg a Week
