I've always been fairly thin but still had an extra 15-20 pounds, and some arthritis. Those pounds are now gone, and my arthritis is improved. My physical endurance is better - I can exercise longer and I can go without eating if needed. If I gain a couple pounds, I'll usually skip breakfast and lunch for a day or two, and the weight will come off. I recognize its often not as easy for women.
